Now let’s look at how to tell motors apart from the outside.
Here is a 40-magnet motor,
next to it is a 50-magnet motor,
and here is a 60-magnet motor.
From the side, you can clearly see the difference in height and size:
The 40-magnet motor is shorter than the 50,
The 50 is shorter than the 60.
And if we go up to 70 or even 80 magnets, the motors become much larger overall.
The rule is simple:
The more magnets, the higher the power and torque.
So a motor that looks bigger and stronger usually is more powerful.
